In the Customer Accounts section in Clarity, the user may sort by code status when classifying accounts.

The definitions of each status are as follows:

  • ANY - will display all accounts.
  • UNCLASSIFIED AND UNVERIFIED - a code was not returned either from your AMS or from our third-party appending service. A NAICS code will need to be entered by the user.
  • CLASSIFIED AND UNVERIFIED - a NAICS code was returned, and the code will need to reviewed and approved by the user.
  • CLASSIFIED AND VERIFIED - a NAICS code was returned, and the user has approved the code.
  • OVERRIDDEN - a NAICS code was edited outside of the process listed above. A change has been made to the code by clicking the override pencil option.
  • OBSOLETE - when NAICS codes are updated (every five years, see NAICS Codes - Did you Know article to learn more about this) if a previously approved code is no longer recognized, you will see this Obsolete option that will require the user to verify a new code choice.
